About
The QR Generator creates static QR codes directly in the browser. The ISBN Lookup combines public book information from Google Books and Open Library. Mango is a personal, non commercial developer project. It does not sell products or services and does not use advertising, analytics or tracking scripts.
Privacy
QR addresses stay on your device. For an ISBN lookup, the entered ISBN is sent by the Mango server to Google Books and Open Library so public book metadata can be returned. Barcode camera images are processed only in your browser and are not uploaded. After a code is recognized and validated, only its product number is sent through Mango to Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts, Open Products Facts and Open Pet Food Facts. Scan history, cached results, favorites and personal price or retailer notes remain locally in this browser. When you use the contact form, the entered name, email address, subject and message are sent to the configured mail recipient for the purpose of replying to your request.
No advertising cookies are set. A hosting provider may process ordinary technical connection logs when the public website is accessed.
Open product data
Product coverage depends on community-maintained open databases and is never guaranteed. Open Facts database data is published under the ODbL, database contents under the Database Contents License and images generally under CC BY-SA; additional third-party rights may apply. Mango displays the contributing source and does not scrape retailer websites.
